The Bloody Big Swim is a 11.2km open water swim held in Melbourne’s world renowned Port Phillip Bay. in January each year. Swimmers compete as solos, duos or in teams of 4 and must be supported by an accompanying paddler and in most cases, by an escort boat. The swim is Australia’s second largest open water swim and is an important fundraiser for local Life Saving Clubs. The Bloody Big Swim app is designed to connect event organizers, participants, supporters and sponsors any time, anywhere.
